Oludeniz Beach, a place full of beauty and activities

Ölüdeniz Beach , or as it is officially called “Blue Lagoon” , is one of the most famous tourist places in Turkey. It is a small village that has been transformed into a wonderful resort overlooking the turquoise coasts in southwestern Turkey, where you will find picturesque views, amazing clear blue water colors, and beautiful pine and olive trees surrounding the place.

Various sports activities are held on the beach, such as diving, sailing, and paragliding. There are many centers dedicated to this, and there is the possibility of renting boats and parachutes, and taking wonderful sea tours.

The Blue Lagoon is known in Turkish as Ölüdeniz , literally meaning “Dead Sea,” because its waters are calm even during storms, and are not interrupted by waves. However, the reality is that this wonderful place is no longer “dead” after tourists discovered its breathtaking beauty, and is full of life all year round.

Oludeniz is located 14 kilometers south of Fethiye , in Muğla province , on the Turquoise Coast of southwestern Turkey, specifically at the meeting point of the Aegean Sea and the Mediterranean Sea, near
Mount Babadağ , where Mount Babadağ is famous for paragliding from its summit, which rises about 1900 meters above sea level. The paragliding flight from the top of the summit to the beach takes about 40 minutes with the help of specialized trainers, to be an exciting experience with breathtaking views of the shore of the blue lake and the valleys and mountains covered with pine forests around it.
